Extrusion Barrels
Proper extrusion barrel design and care ensures a successful project. Barrel strength, heat transfer, quality, and wear-life greatly impact the feasibility of every project. We offer clamp-type, bolt-on, or threaded discharge flanges. Yashi Screw can accommodate a complete selection of replacement barrel sizes with a wide range of bimetallic inlays to ensure the proper barrel for your specific extrusion application, as well as emergency barrel repair. Barrels are centrifugally cast with bi-metallic liners of Nickel-Boron or Tungston-Carbide. Rupture disc and pressure transducer holes are pre-drilled at the factory and thermocouple holes can either be pre-drilled or drilled on site.
