Screw Elements
Screw elements (also called screw segments), are typically and widely used on all twin screw extruders in their modular design. Screw elements are mounted onto a common shaft, the screw geometry (or the screw profile) can easily be adjusted to suit specific process application. Different screw segments are designed to give various processing functions: conveying, compression, reverse-conveying, mixing and kneading.
All types of screw elements, consisting of kneading blocks, mixing elements and convey elements, from 20mm-300mm diameter in size. Manufactured in various types of wear and/or corrosion resistant materials.
